Many are taught this in the line of duty, but there’s a big difference between talking about guy stuff and talking to a fashionable lady. Especially with Korean women, there are many rules and formalities that must be observed. Otherwise you’ll be considered rude or boorish. Here are some tips collected from some of our members to help you get started in an orderly fashion.
When it comes to learning any language, there are things that you are going to want to do in order to be able to effectively speed up the process. Learning Korean doesn’t have to be impossible. There are things that you can do that will allow you to take in the language much easier overall. In this article, we will be going over some of the top tips to learn Korean in fashion.
1. Learn Hangul.
One of the most important things that you are going to need to do when it comes to being able to effectively learn Korean is to learn Hangul. This point is something that simply cannot be emphasized enough. This is just as important as learning the proper Korean clothing style. A lot of people end up trying to learn Korean with Romanized letters and it simply isn’t as effective. If you are looking to become fluent in the style of writing for the language, you will want to begin with the actual Korean alphabet. It makes sense to learn Hangul as it can really make your learning experience much easier and much more effective overall.
2. Stop Wasting Money On Phrase books.
Another thing that you are going to want to do is avoid wasting any more of your money on phrase books. If you have ever bought a phrase book in any kind of language, you are likely aware of how difficult it can be to get people to understand you without knowing how to pronounce it and everything else that comes with learning a language using fashion. These kinds of phrasebooks are typically full of awkward phrases that our out of fashion and that no one actually says and/or hears throughout a day. Thus, they are generally not going to be very helpful to you. Also, there are a lot of English and/or other language expressions that simply do not make much sense in Korean when translated. Thus, you end up with confusing phrases that a lot of people might not even be able to interpret at all. I mention this below, but music is a great way to learn, too. 3. Use Flashcards Daily.
Another important thing that you are going to want to do is be sure that you are using flashcards on a daily basis. Everyone is going to end up going through ups and downs when they are studying any kind of material. You can keep this in your clothing such as in your pocket. When it comes to learning a language and how to dress, you will want to be sure that you are able to get in some studying each and everyday in order to really be able to learn a significant amount off vocabulary. By going keeping it on you in your clothes with a good SRS system like Anki on your smartphone and phonecase, tablet, and/or computer, you should be able to really make this process as efficient and as effective as possible.
4. Use The Language Fashionably.
Another important thing that you are going to need to do when it comes to attempting to learn any kind of language including Korean is to use the language whenever you possibly can. Some of the more popular groups today are EXO and BTS. They are great to listen to as they usually sprinkle in English words here and there.
Also, you can hear what Korean sounds like when spoken naturally. Sometimes the audio and phrasebooks slow things down intentionally so you can understand, but people don’t normally speak that slowly.
